You'll be drifting on a cloud, the effects of stress melting away as I gently but firmly ease tension throughout your body. Swedish massage is performed with oil or lotion. It's very soothing, delivered in long strokes, light friction, and percussive tapping, along with light stretches. The client is generally passive and may even fall asleep during the session. Swedish Massage increases circulation throughout the body. It helps with aches and pains, sleeplessness, anxiety, emotional pain, increasing mental clarity, and more. Essential oils and heat pack are optional but included in your session.
Deep Tissue Massage
Typical results of Deep Tissue massage include reduction of chronic pain, faster healing of muscle injuries, reduction in scar tissue, increase in strength and range of motion, increased flexibility, and relief from those stubborn "knots". Using a variety of modalities, I will locate and release adhesions in the deeper layers of tissues in your body. Due to the nature of the deep tissue work, open communication during the session is crucial to make sure you don't get too uncomfortable, and to help me find the precise locations of your trigger points. Keep in mind that soreness is pretty common after the treatment, and that plenty of water should be ingested to aid the muscles in recovering from the treatment. Optional all natural sore muscle balm and heat pack application included with your treatment.

I can help you learn correct alignment for most any yoga pose, develop a home practice that meets your goals, develop a meditation practice, work your way up to complex poses and more. We can combine yoga with massage sessions to speed the healing of physical issues and build up the strength you need to prevent future injuries. We can work on meditation and relaxation routines for you to de-stress with at home.. Where we go with this is up to you!
